Performance Pipe, A Division of Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., LP., an injection molding manufacturer of polyethylene pipe fittings, located in Bloomfield, IA is seeking a full-time employee for a Material Handler position on the evening shift in our Machining Department.
Available position requires the ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment. The Machining Department operate 8.5 hours a day, 6:30 am ? 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm ? 11:30 pm with a half hour unpaid lunch. Overtime may be required. Applicants must be 18 years or older, high school diploma or GED is required in addition to a valid driver?s license.
We are looking for a detail oriented candidate who has a demonstrated work history of shift work, in addition to working injury free and following work place/plant safety practices and procedures. Experience in driving forklifts and material handling a plus.

Job duties include but not limited to:
+ Work in a safe manner
+ Keep safety as a core value thru teamwork and participation
+ Participate in daily safety routines (both as an individual and team member)
+ Maintain a clean work area
+ Operate fork lifts and material handling equipment
+ Operate Company truck pulling flatbed trailer
+ Supply product to production areas
+ Maintain storage areas
+ Operate the IRMS Warehouse Management System
Successful candidates will need the following qualifications:
+ Be a team player
+ Work with minimum supervision
+ Basic computer and math skills
+ Proficient in communicating in English language (both verbal and written)
Pre-employment and on-going testing includes controlled substances, physical which includes MOBI testing (Mobile Equipment Operator Exam), background check, audiogram and vision.

Entry level pay rate is $15.98/hr. with progressive increases starting after a 120-day probationary period is reached and is successful. A twenty-five cent ($.25) minimum premium will be paid for the evening shift 3:00 pm ? 11:30 pm. Wages are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Time and one-half (1-1/2) will be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one week and in excess of eight (eight) hours in one day.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
