Position: Sales Manager
Purpose:
Manage the sales activities for a specific location including the implementation of the Sales department objectives and sales processes for complete goods. Responsible for all sales metrics and the activities that lead to sales for a specific location. Attracts, retains and effectively coaches department personnel.
Reports to: Location Manager
Performance Expectations :
Daily
Supports and assists sales representative in regards to their daily ": planned": customer contact goals and results from previous day
Review and approve all sales quotes before sales representative takes to customer for presentation
Review any new programs or sales information with sales staff
Review all sales deals in the Sedona business system with sales coordinator
Reviews all service expectations with service manager
Ability to perform basic sales representative expectations, including fielding customer walk ins and sales calls
Weekly
Manage pending deals with the field support sales manager and location manager to insure deals get closed
Generate and distribute lost deals reports
Conduct weekly sales meetings with sales staff
Support and assist sales representative in regards to their weekly customer contact goals including Monthly and Annual Sales Calls
Verify accuracy in all advertising for location
Conduct weekly meetings with parts, service and location managers
Ensure customer satisfaction from all customers who made a purchase that week
Reviews used inventory with sales representative for planned and actual activities that lead to achieving inventory turn goals
Monthly
Manage and complete all goals set by field support sales manager and location manager
Manage monthly Sinclair fund budget
Create and submit monthly sales reports
Hold monthly meeting with field support sales manager
Responsible for inventory audit at assigned location
Responsible for sales representatives training and development completion
Insure customers are properly assigned
Responsible for obtaining and distributing new accounts
Review and revise sales task lists to current market trends
Responsible for lot arrangement and equipment display
Work with marketing team on advertising, promotions, and events
Attends and actively participates in monthly meetings with location sales managers
Annual
Manages EOP processes
Develops marketing plan for assigned location
Reports on prior years marketing goals and market share
Reviews sales needs in order to grow the business
Creates stock recommendations based on marketing plan, budget, and market share
Sets and communicates annual customer sales list goals with sales representatives
Completes all annuals sales calls on locations key accounts
Completes annual reviews on all sales staff

Critical Capabilities Needed for Success:
3+ years sales experience, 1+ years sales management experience
Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
Proven managerial ability including leading, coaching, and developing others
Ability to define and implement sales processes
Ability to use Deere sales computer applications and tools
Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
Associates or Bachelors Degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
